Bertha L. Miller-Troyer, 91, Ligonier, passed away on Jan. 22, 2015, at her son’s home.
She was born on March 8, 1923, in Haven, Kansas to Lewis and Albina (O’Neal) Meier. She married Jake Miller. He preceded her in death in 1967. She then married Jerry Troyer in 1971. He preceded her in death.
She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxilary in Kansas.
She is survived by a son: Paul (Linda) Miller, Cromwell; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Kathryn Marlene, a brother and three sisters.
A graveside service in her honor will be at noon Wednesday Jan. 28 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Topeka, Ind. Pastor Brad Cox will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be given to Autism Foundation or Riley Children’s Hospital for pulmonary research.
