Nicholas D. Westrick

Nicholas D. Westrick, 60, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at his home in Cromwell. He was born to the late Lewis Paul and Sharon (Jones) Westrick on April 27, 1956 in Garrett.

He leaves behind his precious friend, Meg Rodecap, Auburn; Mother and Step-Father Sharon and Bernard Bronsink, Bowling Green, Ohio; sister, Susan (Kenneth) Haynes, Barefoot Bay, Fla.; brothers: John Scott (Maryann) Ridgway, Chicago, Ill.; Michael (Bren) Ridgway, Rudolph, Ohio; and David (Michelle) Ridgway, Delaware, Ohio; aunts: Eunice Smith, Royalton, Ill.; Marjorie Sebert, Kendallville; and Linda Brown, Evansville; along with two uncles: Roger (Carol) Jones, Angola; and John (Crystal) Jones, Claire, Mich.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Sue Westrick; father, Lewis Paul Westrick Sr.; and brother, Lewis Paul Westrick Jr.

Nicholas worked for many years with an exceptional work ethic in the automotive department at Walmart in Goshen. In his spare time he really enjoyed anything car or mechanic related. He had two cats that he shared everything with.

A private graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6 at Calvary Cemetery, on Hamsher Street in Garrett. Pastor James Farrer will officiate.

Yeager Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
