Wendy had a lot of talent and many skills. As a child she spent a lot of time with her siblings at the Big Long Lake. She worked for many years with an exceptional work ethic for the Kidd’s Marshmallow Factory and for Supervalu, Inc. She loved to cook, go out to eat, visit at garage sales, hang out with her two cats, baking pineapple cake and reading books. Above all of this, her true passion was being an exceptional mother to her son Brian, and grandmother to her two grandsons, Brock Paul and Brayden Mathew. They made many memories camping, playing with remote control cars, and jetting to and from the hobby shop.
A funeral service in Wendy’s honor will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at Yeager Funeral Home, Ligonier. Pastor James Farrer will officiate. To honor Wendy’s wishes a graveside service will not be taking place.
