Julia Aileen Dobrunst

Julia A. DobrunstJulia Aileen Dobrunst, age 83, of Ligonier passed away on Wednesday July 15, 2015, at Sacred Heart Home in Avilla, IN. She was born on Oct. 2, 1931, to Richard and Lulu (Conrad) Rex in Noble County. On Sept. 7, 1958, she married Irwin Dobrunst, he preceded her in death in Sept. of 2008.

She is survived by two daughters: Shari Ritchison, Shelbyville; and Jeri Edsall, Wolf Lake; four grandchildren: Chad Edsall; Tara Edsall; Madison Ritchison; and Jared Ritchison; one sister: Janice Mansfield, Angola; and a son-in-law: Brian Edsall. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and a son-in-law: Tod Ritchison.

Julia was a faithful member of Ligonier Church of the Nazarene for many years. She graduated from Ligonier High School in 1949 and later attended IBM School in Chicago where she met her husband, Irwin. Julia worked for Sorg Products in Ligonier for 18 years. She also worked for Superior Sample and retired from Lake City Bank.

A funeral service will be held in Julia’s honor at noon Saturday July 18, at Yeager Funeral Home, Ligonier. Rev. John Lutton will officiate. Burial will take place at Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Ligonier Church of the Nazarene, Ligonier.
