Pastor Jose I. Vargas, 91, Ligonier, died Monday, March 31, 2025, at home.
He was born June 24, 1933. On Dec. 6, 1959, he married Paula De Los Santos, who preceded him in death on Feb. 17, 2024.
He is survived by four children, Arturo (Nellie) Vargas, Goshen, Ricardo (Sonia) Vargas, Goshen, Bernice (Benito Sr.) Landeros, Ligonier, and Samuel (Tina) Vargas, Summerville, S.C.; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Yeager Funeral Home, Ligonier, is handling arrangements.
