Glory Ann Arnold

Glory Ann Arnold, 84, Ligonier, passed away early Monday morning, Sept. 26, 2016.

She was born in Hot Springs, Ark. Sept. 3, 1932, the daughter of William Prim and Beulah Jane (Bacon) Lautzenheiser.

She is survived by four children: Angella Arnold-Henson of Fort Wayne; Valerie (James) Wood of Elkhart; Jeffrey (Dorthea) Arnold of South Whitley; and Troy (Roberta) Arnold of Ligonier; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren; along with a step-sister, Marcia Felts of Yuba City, Calif.

Glory was preceded in death by her husband: Warren K. Arnold; her parents; daughter: Jane Willingham; and her grandson: Edward Kenneth Hensley.

She will always be remembered for her fashion forward style and time spent with her family. Whether it was packing up the family for camping and fishing trips, or packing up the house from all the moving that was spent in the Arnold family. A proud thespian she enjoyed theatre with her favorite musical being Oklahoma. Along with being a homemaker, Glory spent time helping her husband in his jewelry store.

A private memorial service in Glory’s honor will be held at a later date. Burial will follow at Pleasantdale Cemetery in Decatur.
