Mavis Irene Fulford, 79, Ligonier, passed away Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016 at Northridge Village in Albion following an extended illness.
She was born April 25, 1937 the daughter of Shirley and Flossie (Baker) Conrad in Albion. On Sept. 11, 1954 she married Joseph Fulford; he survives.
Also surviving are three children: Victoria L. Hamman, Ligonier; Kelley (Brent) Crowe, Kendallville; and Tara (Joshua) Wentworth, Albion; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Delores Treesh, Kendallville.
She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen A. Fulford; her parents; and five siblings.
Mavis was a beloved wife, mother, grandma, and friend to many. She was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed sewing, cooking, scrapbooking, and above all spoiling her grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South Ligonier, IN 46767. A private family graveside will take place on Thursday in Cosperville Cemetery with Pastor Joey Nelson officiating.
