Barbara Kay Watson, 69, Liberty Mills, passed away at home on Sunday, July 10, 2016, following an extended illness. She was born on March 13, 1947, the daughter of William Doyle and Maxine Delight (Campbell) Surfus in Dayton, Ohio.
She is survived by her children: William David Hunnicutt; Dannielle L. Hunnicutt; and Denise E. (Mickey) Evans; a sister: Bonnie Boxell; stepchildren: Cathy Norton; Vicki Brown; Jacquelyn Kay Correll; and Tina (Tom) Collins; six grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Jack Watson; three brothers; and a grandson.
Barbara was a lifetime area resident and was a member of the North Manchester Moose Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary. She retired from Singer Controls after many years of service.
A memorial service in Barbara’s honor will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Glancy Funeral Home, Warren. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.
Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the ALS Association, Gift Processing Center, Albert Lea, Minn.
